At 47, after losing everything, Jorge Hanaoka started again. With help from family and friends, he built a small shed and founded Micro-Química — still small in size, but already guided by attention to detail and the pursuit of purity.
Achieving ISO 9001 marked a turning point. From then on, traceability, standardization and continuous improvement became part of how the company was run.
The plant expansion brought more capacity, organization and manufacturing structure. In the same period, ISO 14001 strengthened environmental management and deepened a culture of responsibility.
The company begins to reap recognition for a track record built with consistency. The FIESP award marks a new stage of visibility for Micro-Química.
The Environmental Merit Award reinforces that growth and responsibility can go hand in hand — and that environmental commitment was already part of the company's evolution.
DuPont's recognition reinforces the credibility earned over the years and the company's ability to build solid relationships with major partners.
A new generation takes on the responsibility of continuing the story. Cláudio Hanaoka becomes the company's leader, tasked with preserving the legacy while preparing for the future.
The company says goodbye to its founder, Jorge Hanaoka. His physical presence is gone, but his values, teachings and way of building trust remain alive in the company's culture.
Micro-Química is renamed Hanaoka Soluções Químicas. More than a name change, it was the decision to turn a family legacy into a public commitment to the future.
Hanaoka expands its reach with the creation of Hanaoka PureLab, bringing its experience and culture of trust to the world of high-purity laboratory reagents.
